Accounting Expertise Role

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting professional to play a key role in our financial operations.

This position involves ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial records, as well as preparing month-end and yearly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet preparation, variance analysis, exception reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Apart from this, you will be responsible for maintaining Fixed Asset Registers, Prepaid Schedules, and FX rates. You will also deal with the annual audit, prepare monthly reports for directors/sales teams, and present overall Inventory levels for weekly review.

  • Publishing month-end and yearly management accounts.
  • Preparing P&L and balance sheets, encompassing month-end close, variance analysis, exception reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and commentary.
  • Maintaining Fixed Asset Register ensuring it aligns with Management accounts.
  • Maintaining Prepaid Schedule guaranteeing it is aligned with Management accounts and prepayments are released accurately to P&L.
  • Negotiating the annual audit – coordination and providing necessary information.
  • Compiling monthly reports for directors/sales teams calculating Aged Stock Provision adjustments to commission.
  • Presenting overall Inventory levels for designated entities for weekly evaluation.
  • Review and Update FX rates.
  • Loading invoice data to CBIF.
  • Verifying bank accounts for receipts and payments/DDRs.
  • Scorecard spreadsheet.
  • Vendor Payments: ZUK, ZBS & ZTIL.
  • ZUK/ZBS Receipts from Microsoft report for CBIF.
  • ZUK / ZBS / ZTIL / ZMEA Reconcile bank statements.
  • Expense Claim Payments.
  • Gathering Zones Inc FBAR data.
  • Overdue Aged Debt retention report for Credit Control.
  • ZUK / ZBS Reconcile financing bank statements.
  • ZUK / ZBS Reconcile CBIF Sales Ledger/Month End Rec.
  • Other ad-hoc activities.
Key Skills Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience as an accounting supervisor or similar role.
  • ACCA certified or equivalent qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of basic and advanced accounting principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with financial software and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of cashbook posting and treasury functions including FX deals.
