Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial operations, travel and expense management, and analytical tools such as Excel and dashboards.

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting detailed audits of expense reports, performing completeness and accuracy checks, and ensuring compliance with company policies. You will also assist in the preparation of reports and dashboards, prepare and review DTPs on a quarterly basis, and undertake projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed established goals and KPIs.
  • Conduct thorough audits of expense reports.
  • Perform completeness and accuracy checks.
  • Ensure accurate submission of expenses according to company policies.
  • Identify enhancements by analyzing processes/systems and exploring new functionalities.
  • Apply knowledge to resolve typical issues or situations.
  • Provide customer service and resolve issues for employees.
  • Assist in report preparation and dashboard analysis.
  • Review and prepare DTPs quarterly.
  • Undertake projects and additional responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with accounting teams and stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Participate in calls and meetings as required.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Support annual audits and quarterly reviews.

Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of financial operations, travel and expense management, and analytical tools such as Excel and dashboards.
  • Ability to think differently and solve technical and non-technical problems.
  • Commerce Graduate/Masters with 5-7 years of experience in financial operations domain.
  • Good accounting knowledge and exposure to shared service centers.
  • Exceptional fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Ability to learn standards & processes quickly.
  • Flexible approach with strong team spirit.
  • Effective interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Proficient with analytical tools such as Excel, dashboards, reporting, and data analysis software.
