Job Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Director QEC, responsible for ensuring the quality and standards of teaching, learning, research, and services at our institution.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Total Quality Management (TQM) or a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience preferably in a university setting.

Key Responsibilities

The Director QEC will be responsible for:

  • Implementing quality assurance processes and methods of evaluation to maintain high educational standards.
  • Developing Self Assessment Reports that meet the requirements set by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan.
  • Annual monitoring and evaluation of programs, faculty, and student perception.
  • Providing fortnightly reports to senior management on activities carried out in QEC.
Terms of Reference

The Director QEC will be accountable for:

  • Promoting public confidence in the quality and standards of our institution's teaching, learning, research, and services.
  • Defining clear standards for performance reviews to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Developing qualifications frameworks and learning outcomes to enhance student attributes and abilities.
  • Creating program specifications with faculty input to clarify student knowledge, skills, and attributes upon completion.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a PhD/MS/MPhil in TQM or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferably in a university setting.
