Bar Service Assistant

This role is responsible for ensuring the bar and lounge areas are set up properly and stocked with supplies throughout all hours of operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up the bar area according to established standards before opening.
  • Keep the bar and lounge areas clean and organized at all times.
  • Assist bartenders in monitoring the bar's condition, replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Restock ice and ensure bartenders have sufficient supplies throughout their shift.
  • Support bartenders and cocktail servers according to the activity schedule or as required.
  • Operate glasswashers as necessary, putting clean glassware away and checking stock levels regularly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the bar areas by sweeping and mopping behind them at the end of every shift.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Physical Demands

The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

  • Repeated bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 35 lbs)
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying (up to 50 lbs)
  • Bending and kneeling to clean and stock bar areas
  • Continuous standing to stock and clean bar and lounge areas
