Educational Counselor - Guidance Specialist

 

As a Guidance Specialist in International Education, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and counseling potential students through the admission process for top-tier universities worldwide. Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice and support to prospective students, helping them make informed decisions about their academic and career pathways.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and assistance to prospective students seeking admission to international universities, explaining admission requirements, application procedures, and deadlines.
  • Assess the academic qualifications and career goals of students to recommend suitable programs and institutions that align with their aspirations.
  • Disseminate accurate and up-to-date information about international universities, programs, scholarships, and entry exams to students and their families.
  • Assist students in preparing and submitting their university applications, ensuring that all necessary documents are in order and deadlines are met.
  • Provide guidance on the visa application process, including document preparation and interviews, for students planning to study abroad.
  • Conduct mock interviews and offer coaching to help students excel in interviews, ensuring they meet admission requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of student interactions, including notes on their progress and status in the admission process.

 

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of international education systems and universities.
  • Ability to empathize with students and their families, understanding their aspirations and concerns.
