Job Description

As a highly skilled professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

With a strong focus on system availability, you will be responsible for managing IBM z Console Operations, monitoring job execution, troubleshooting failures, and restarting jobs as needed.

You will also handle IPL (Initial Program Load), role swaps, perform weekly housekeeping activities, and manage batch jobs using tools like JCL to maintain service availability.

Furthermore, you will monitor alert consoles and logs for errors or performance issues; start, stop, and restart system components as needed.

In addition, you will respond to system messages and alerts to ensure service availability.

Key Responsibilities:
