Job Opportunity in Biology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PhD Peer Reviewer with expertise in Biology and Biochemistry to assess the quality and validity of manuscripts for publication.

This is a part-time opportunity that allows for remote work. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of research methodologies, analytical and critical thinking skills, and excellent written communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate manuscript novelty, study design and methodology, literature review, results, and conclusions.
  • Provide constructive feedback to authors, including suggestions for improvement and highlighting flaws or ethical concerns.
  • Recommend publication decisions based on evaluation criteria.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Doctorate PhD or equivalent advanced degree in Biology or Biochemistry.
  • Published at least 3 papers in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals in the past two years.
  • Published at least 12 papers in SCIE/SSCI/A&HCI journals in the past ten years.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity.
