Medical Coding Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled medical coder to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in accurately coding and abstracting medical records to facilitate timely billing and maintain accurate acuity statistics.
About the RoleThis position requires adherence to Hospital and industry standard coding guidelines.
Responsibilities- You will be responsible for possessing a strong understanding of Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology and Disease Process.
- Proficiency in Encoder software and ability to utilize Hospital Information System efficiently is required.
- A knowledge of ICD 9 and CPT code sets (ICD 10 a Plus) with the ability to apply accurately is necessary.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively communicate in English, are essential.
