We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical direction and executing new initiatives while providing operational support for solutions in production.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead technical direction and discovery of new initiatives, working across teams to deliver solutions in production.
  2. Apply Agile methodologies and high-level planning to drive project success.
  3. Facilitate collaboration with internal stakeholders through effective communication and meeting facilitation.
  4. Partner with other teams to achieve shared objectives.
  5. Contribute to documentation and code quality efforts through thoughtful code reviews and adherence to coding standards.
  6. Mentor junior engineers and support their growth within the team.
  7. Design and develop customer-facing and internal applications, leveraging architectural diagrams to inform development decisions.
  8. Troubleshoot production issues by analyzing source code, logs, and operational metrics to identify and resolve problems.
  9. Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices, applying this knowledge to evaluate tradeoffs and inform technical decisions.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a software developer, with expertise in full-stack development, including JavaScript, Drupal/PHP, CSS/SASS, and Nginx/Apache.
  • High proficiency in CMS frameworks and experience working with code repositories such as GitHub.
  • Experience deploying containers within the AWS environment and working within Agile teams to build and improve software.
  • A willingness to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, participating in discussions and contributing to problem-solving.
  • The ability to deliver high-quality results and improve code, documentation, and outcomes with each iteration.
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in related fields (media, entertainment, or business development) or working in national or global companies will be considered favorably. Additionally, experience developing Single Page Applications with modern UI frameworks and working with teams across multiple time zones is desirable.
