Senior Cloud Architect Position

\

We are seeking a talented Senior Cloud Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Application Platform, you will play a critical role in defining the next generation of cloud services.

\

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Contribute to the development of new architecture and major functional upgrades for our Application Platform offering.
  • Work with our product teams to build the next generation of products and services for our developers community.
  • Drive architecture for complex systems by determining current limitations and working with the team to come up with solutions.
  • Contribute operational reliability as a member of the product on-call rotation.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Kubernetes, Go, gRPC, MySQL, Istio, Prometheus, and Cloud Native Buildpacks is essential.

About You:

\
  • You have experience as a software engineer, developer, or programmer building software used by 1000s of users.
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies is required.
  • A strong understanding of Golang and its applications, particularly in building APIs (gRPC), is necessary.
  • Operational knowledge of Kubernetes is a plus, or a passion to learn Kubernetes operations is highly valued.
  • You possess the ability to navigate the complexity of distributed systems to operate them in production.
  • A commitment to monitoring and observability is also essential.
  • Strong opinions, weakly held, and systems thinking are highly appreciated.
  • Bonus: Experience operating Kubernetes in production at large scales is a significant advantage.
