This is a senior transport rollout position that plays a key role in executing end-to-end deployment of network infrastructure including MW Rollout, CEs, PE/P routers, CDNs, DWDM systems, and IP Aggregation layers.

The successful candidate will have deep technical expertise with project management skills, ensuring timely, efficient, and quality-driven implementation of network rollouts, upgrades, and migrations. They will act as a technical lead for field teams and a liaison between engineering, planning, vendor, and project management stakeholders.

  • Key responsibilities include ensuring successful implementation of IP Core and Transport network projects in accordance with approved designs, timelines, and quality standards.
  • The role also involves managing and tracking project milestones, resource alignment, material readiness, and vendor coordination to eliminate delays.
  • Additionally, the individual will deliver configurations and site-level activations as per approved network plans.
  • They will act as the technical interface during rollout and handovers, ensuring all acceptance criteria are met.
  • Finally, they will drive issue resolution during rollout and post-deployment phases with minimum impact on network operations.
Day-to-Day Activities
  • The daily routine includes reviewing project scope, design packages, and implementation plans with internal teams and vendors.
  • Preparing daily rollout schedules, tracking site-wise progress, and flagging any risks or blockers is also part of the job.
  • Executing or supervising router/switch configuration, connectivity testing, and service provisioning is another critical task.
  • Coordinating with Operations, planning, and quality teams for live cutovers, alarms clearance, and network health verification is essential.
  • Attending project review meetings, updating documentation, and ensuring all deliverables are aligned with contractual timelines is crucial.

Familiarity with strong hands-on knowledge of IP/MPLS protocols, experience in router and transport equipment commissioning, proven ability to manage and coordinate field teams, vendors, and logistics, understanding of project lifecycle management, and competence in network quality verification are also necessary.
