Odoo Functional Consultant Job

This is a career opportunity to work as an Odoo functional consultant, combining business analysis with software development skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and business processes, with experience in both functional consulting and development. They should be comfortable working with Git, Linux server environments, and self-motivated with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and document business requirements across departments
  • Configure and deploy Odoo standard modules, including accounting and POS functionality
  • Conduct user training and provide functional support
  • Create detailed user manuals and workflow documentation
  • Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python and XML
  • Build custom fields, models, reports, and business workflows
  • Integrate third-party APIs and handle deployments using Git and Odoo.sh or other hosting environments
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years experience with Odoo as both a Functional Consultant and Developer
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and business processes
  • Experience with Odoo v14 or newer (Enterprise preferred)
  • Comfortable working with Git and Linux server environments
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
  • Odoo Certification (Functional or Technical)
  • Experience with VAT, e-invoicing, and fiscal localization
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Odoo ORM
  • Hands-on work with both Community and Enterprise editions
