IT Manager and IT Head

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to manage our IT projects, ensuring they meet business needs and deliver value within predefined time, quality, and cost targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, including budgetary responsibility and team leadership. They will provide guidance and support to our applications development team on project management, business analysis, system design, coding, testing, and documentation.

This role also involves providing technical advice and assistance to the local market technology staff on hardware and software infrastructure, including servers, backup devices, network equipment, and security systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring uptime of the technology infrastructure, implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures, and maintaining software asset registers. They will also participate in management planning meetings, provide input on technology use, and contribute to SOX compliance activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing IT projects to meet business needs and deliver value within predetermined time, quality, and cost targets.
  • Providing guidance and support to the applications development team on project management, business analysis, system design, coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Ensuring uptime of the technology infrastructure and implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Maintaining software asset registers and providing technical advice to the finance/administration team.
  • Participating in management planning meetings and contributing to SOX compliance activities.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in IT project management, including budgetary responsibility and team leadership.
  • Prior hands-on experience with software technologies used to underpin our IT environment, including Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, SQL, and Symantec products.
  • A conceptual understanding of software development life cycles, cabling systems, web technologies, and wide area networking technologies.
  • Certification in Microsoft operating system and networking products or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director and IT Director Asia Pacific, you will work closely with our IT team to ensure the effective delivery of IT projects and services.
