About This Role

You're ready to grow your skills and career with a challenging software engineering position.

This is an opportunity for you as a Software Engineer II within the Corporate Technology department.

You will be part of an agile team that works to design, develop, and deliver software components in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

As a member of this team, you will execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a product or system, gaining experience and knowledge needed to advance your career.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support review of data controls to ensure protection and security.
  • Make custom configuration changes in tools to generate products at business or customer request.
  • Update data models based on new use cases.
  • Frequently use SQL and understand NoSQL databases and their applications.
  • Develop pipelines for moving data from On-prem to Cloud platforms.
  • Perform user acceptance testing and deliver demos using SQL queries or Python scripts.
  • Analyze data to define model development, including metadata documentation.
  • Participate in strategic projects and provide input on ways to leverage quantitative analytics.
  • Collaborate with partners to identify impactful projects and inform key decisions with data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, and 2+ years of applied experience with hands-on development experience and knowledge of Cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience migrating relational Databases to NoSQL/Bigdata in Cloud environments.
  • Experience across the data lifecycle, including data analysis and processing.
  • Advanced skills in SQL (e.g., joins, aggregations, SQL analytical functions).
  • Hands-on experience handling JSON data in SQL.
  • Working understanding of NoSQL databases like TigerGraph, MongoDB, or other DBs.
  • Hands-on experience building BigData warehouses using various applications.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing, AWS.
  • Experience with query processing and tuning reports.
  • Experience with ETL and processing real-time data.
  • Experience with Big data technologies like PySpark.
