  • A highly skilled professional with a strong background in software quality assurance is sought to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing web and mobile applications, as well as a solid understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • They will be responsible for advocating quality across all aspects of the SDLC, writing test cases based on business and technical requirements, and performing black box and white box testing.
  • The successful candidate will also be able to develop and execute test scenarios, prioritize tasks effectively, and lead process improvements to enhance quality assurance and reduce testing cycle time.
  • They will work closely with the management team to report test results and implement SQA lifecycle processes for projects.
  • Additionally, they will stay up-to-date with new testing tools and technologies, and possess a strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, be proactive and curious, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance (tested web and mobile apps)
  • Participation in all aspects of SDLC to advocate quality
  • Writing test cases based on business/technical requirements, use cases, and design documents
  • Performing black box and white box testing, tracking defects, and managing release processes
  • Developing and executing test scenarios and test cases
  • Ability to stay focused and prioritize a heavy workload while achieving exceptional quality
  • Leading process improvements to provide improved quality assurance and reduction in testing cycle time
  • SQA Lifecycle implementation for the projects
  • Reporting test results to the management team
  • Knowledge of security testing (penetration testing)
  • Experience with agile/scrum development process
  • REST API testing
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and technologies
