Infrastructure Specialist Job Summary

You are a key figure in designing and implementing cutting-edge infrastructure solutions for a leading financial institution. As an experienced Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's technical landscape.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans to improve data and systems at scale, ensuring seamless end-to-end monitoring of applications.
  • Resolve complex issues through nuanced analysis and determine effective escalation paths.
  • Apply conventional problem-solving methodologies to build or break down technical problems.
  • Drive daily activities supporting standard capacity process applications.
  • Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statuses.
  • Consider upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications.
  • Make significant decisions for projects consisting of multiple technologies and applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Formal training or certification in Infrastructure Engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with streaming data applications, data pipeline open-source products, and Hadoop data platforms; strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Design, develop, and test full-stack cloud data solutions in collaboration with line-of-business users and technology teams.
  • Lead and ensure craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions.
  • Conduct proof of concept and implement cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation.
  • Expertise in one or more technology domains, solving complex and mission-critical problems.
