As a marriage and family therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges and achieve emotional and relational wellness. We are seeking skilled professionals who can provide expert guidance and support to those in need.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of concern and develop targeted interventions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients
  • Analyze data and monitor client progress to adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of mental health counseling and apply evidence-based practices in clinical counseling and therapy techniques
  • Work with individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with special education needs
  • Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to promote positive behavior change
  • Collaborate with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to pediatric clients
  • Deliver mental health services to families, couples, individuals, and children by employing solution-focused counseling techniques
  • Collaborate with community organizations and attend weekly clinical team meetings
  • Test, interview, observe, and hold discussion sessions with individuals, significant others, and family members to conduct intake and needs assessments
  • Document patient records accurately and thoroughly in accordance with facility and licensing standards
  • Engage in planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic treatment programs for each patient

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Marital and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • State licensure or certification as a Clinical Therapist
  • Experience working with couples and families is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of family systems techniques and interventions
  • Experience with addictions and/or trauma-informed care is a plus
  • Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) or the equivalent is required
  • 1-3 years in a clinical setting counseling couples and families is required
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or related field; preference to those with a master's degree
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, as well as outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, are needed
