Aga Khan University seeks a Data Collector to support the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with patients, parents, and colleagues in a professional manner. Key responsibilities include providing oral instructions and information to patients and parents in colloquial English and Urdu, communicating effectively with patients, parents, and colleagues, and maintaining a mature, reliable, and responsible approach to work.

Requirements
  • At least six months of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Experience in patient interaction, including appointment scheduling and collecting patient information
  • Basic administrative skills such as filing, scanning, and data entry

The ideal candidate will be able to understand and follow instructions accurately and speak and understand job-related English and Urdu fluently. The Aga Khan University is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.

This is a short-term grant-funded contractual position.

The selected candidate will be expected to work closely with a team of specialized medical staff, nurses, optometrists, technicians, and others to offer comprehensive eye care for adults and children. This includes surgery for cataract, corneal transplant, retinal disorders, glaucoma, orbital and facial reconstruction, refractive, squint, and ophthalmic tumors.
