Eye Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled Eye Care Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

The Eye Care Technician will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care services, including assessing patients' needs, planning and implementing care plans, and documenting progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and identifying patients for eye surgeries and procedures
  • Checking patients' schedules and taking over files
  • Completing pre-operative documentation for eye surgeries
  • Laboring and dispatching specimens for investigation
  • Scrubbing for designated cases and assisting in transportation
  • Reporting equipment issues to supervisors and coordinating OR lists

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong foundation in basic patient care principles and good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Matriculation degree with Science and Intermediate in any discipline, preferably completed Nursing Technician training or at least one year of Ophthalmology experience.
