Job Overview

The Utilities Project Coordinator assumes a pivotal role in overseeing the management of solar projects throughout the utility application process, ensuring seamless project progression from inception to completion.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate intake meetings with land sales teams and utilities.
  • Conduct preliminary due diligence on project documents and initiate the utility application process.
  • Coordinate and track project progress, documenting all steps according to established procedure.
  • Submit project applications to utilities and ensure timely communication of project status.
  • Act as a liaison between departments to control accountabilities and deliverables.
  • Monitor deadlines for utility applications and schedule field work accordingly.
  • Upload and track utility documents for applications and submit critical project compliance documents to relevant authorities.

Competencies Required:
  • Technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and conflict resolution.
  • Relationship building and interpersonal skills, with ability to operate online applications and tools.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years business office experience with general knowledge of business processes.
  • Basic business information and research skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and Adobe Pro.
  • Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
