We are seeking an experienced Psychometric Assessment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, evaluating tests and testing programs closely aligned with current subject-area standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing tests and testing programs aligned with subject-area standards
  • Writing items, reviewing, and evaluating test assembly and scoring
  • Approving items for use on tests and evaluating content and psychometric properties
  • Designing and developing new assessments and innovative products and services
  • Creating rules for test creation systems, assembling pretests, tests, and/or Computer-Adaptive Testing (CAT) pools
  • Planning and conducting reliability, validity, or comparability studies
  • Leading test development activities as a lead
  • Managing item evaluation processes for newly inducted or existing tests
  • Directing testing projects, delegating work, and monitoring progress

Requirements:

  • Strong writing skills and organizational abilities
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of specialty fields for test development
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with clients
  • Proficiency in SPSS, NVivo, Excel, and MS Office with knowledge of applied statistics
