Job Title: IT Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team, responsible for ensuring the health and performance of our services. This role involves working closely with development teams to design, implement, and maintain systems that meet our scalability and reliability needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in building CI/CD processes, collaborating with development teams, and troubleshooting issues across the entire stack. They should also be proficient in automation tools and have a strong understanding of distributed systems and container orchestration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated systems to monitor and maintain production environment health
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve operations-related issues
  • Develop and maintain production-like environments used for development and testing
  • Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, application, and network layers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field, with significant experience in DevOps
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification
  • 4+ years of experience supporting hosted services in high-volume customer-facing environments
  • Experience with DevOps tools, processes, culture, distributed systems, and supporting mission-critical systems

About You:

  • Demonstrated ability to write programs/utilities using high-level programming languages such as Go, Ruby, Python, and Bash
  • 3+ years of proven experience running and managing infrastructure at scale using container orchestration tool Kubernetes
  • Experience in performing migration from traditional technology stacks to AWS EKS or similar
