Job Description:

This is a key role in ensuring the highest quality leather jackets are produced. As a Quality Checker, you will oversee the inspection process, guaranteeing exceptional quality throughout production.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  1. Inspecting Leather Materials and Finishes: Conduct thorough examinations of leather materials, stitching, finishes, and fittings to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  2. Leading Pre-Production and Final Inspections: Guarantee compliance with established guidelines by leading pre-production and final inspections.
  3. Collaborating with Production Teams: Work closely with production teams to address quality issues, providing actionable feedback and guidance to improve product quality.
  4. Maintaining Quality Records: Accurately record inspections, quality concerns, and corrective actions taken to maintain a high level of quality control.
  5. Ensuring Safety and Environmental Standards: Uphold safety and environmental standards throughout the production process.
  6. Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor quality control staff to adopt best practices in leather jacket manufacturing.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the leather garment industry.
  2. In-depth knowledge of leather materials, stitching techniques, and garment finishes.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  4. Able to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
  5. Familiarity with relevant industry standards.
