Charge Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Charge Technologist to lead our clinical laboratory team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the laboratory, including administrative and technical tasks.
The laboratory is a key component of our academic centre, providing diagnostic services to the community. Our team is highly engaged in research and teaching, and we are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Medical Technology.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring that all procedures are followed and policies are implemented.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the laboratory.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including documentation of test results and laboratory quality control data.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A degree in Biological Science (4 years program) with 3 years of experience as a Senior Technologist or equivalent experience gained at a hospital.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
