Job Title: Global Fellows in User Experience or Interaction Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Fellow in User Experience or Interaction Design. This two-year fellowship offers an opportunity to teach undergraduate courses, mentor students, supervise research, and collaborate on projects.

About the Fellowship:
  • This is a full-time, two-year fellowship that provides faculty integration, diverse opportunities, and long-term career prospects.
  • The fellow will have the flexibility to choose from one- or two-year fellowships.
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Teaching undergraduate courses (4 courses annually)
  2. Mentoring students, supervising research, and collaborating on projects
  3. Organizing public seminars and enriching the curriculum
Candidate Profile:

We seek candidates with a Ph.D. or terminal degree in interaction design, user experience design, human-computer interaction, or related fields. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service design, systemic design, industrial design, communication design, architecture, or similar with relevant professional or research experience.

  • Strong visual/tangible design skills and capacity for original, creative work informed by critical research
  • Experience considering interactions, interfaces, and experiences beyond screens; relevant design practice and pedagogy, especially in the Global South
  • Experience in a liberal arts environment is an advantage
