Role Overview

Karat's mission is to transform organizations globally by providing a powerful tool for technical leaders at top companies to control their hiring process, elevate their teams, and stay ahead.

The Content team is dedicated to creating high-quality technical interview questions that assess engineering talent worldwide. We work in various technical domains and produce new interview questions on a weekly basis, responsible for writing, testing, publishing, and monitoring all content.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop high-quality interview content meeting stakeholder specifications and Karat standards.
  • Author new technical interview questions in multiple subject domains, utilizing modern technologies like generative AI.
  • Complete peer reviews of content developments, ensuring consistency in content quality.
  • Integrate feedback and iterate on content based on performance data and feedback from the corrections team.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
  • Project or program management experience, or previous experience conducting technical interviews for Software Engineering hiring.
  • Ability to program in a common programming language.
  • Fluent, concise English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience with Generative AI/ChatGPT is an advantage.
  • Ability to operate independently with high-output and strict deadlines.
  • High-growth, quick-change startup experience is beneficial.
