Senior MERN Stack Developer

About the position:

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a Senior MERN Stack Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and engineering enterprise, web, and mobile applications using cutting-edge technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure software solutions for complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user requirements into overall architecture and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Contribute to the development of new features and technologies to improve existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth application functionality.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience designing and engineering enterprise, web, and mobile applications.
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js & Node.js.
  • Strong hands-on experience with back-end development using Node.js and familiarity with NestJS framework.
  • Strong hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as ReactJS and Next.js.
  • Experience with Rust is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of database technologies including SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Ability to write efficient database queries using TypeORM with NestJS.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT).
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
  • Good understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Good algorithmic thinking utilizing Object-Oriented programming languages to solve complex problems efficiently.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding and exposure to reactive programming and web sockets.
  • Familiarity with native build tools like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, IntelliJ.
  • BSc/MSc in Engineering Field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with React Native for mobile application development.
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of GraphQL for API development.

Work Arrangements:

  • Work Timings: 9am to 5pm.
  • Work Days: Monday - Friday.
  • Location: Islamabad.
  • Experience: 3+ years.
