Project Manager - Capital Projects

This role involves leading the execution of capital projects in various aspects, including design, costing, planning, control, and construction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Execution Management - Oversee the project's execution, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Process Engineering / Design - Apply knowledge of plant production processes to modify designs for project implementation.
  • Project Detailed Engineering - Provide specifications for materials and works for tendering, procurement, and contracting.
  • Compliance with Design Safety Standards - Ensure compliance with world-class project standards and documentation for critical and safe building engineering.
  • Civil / Construction Management - Manage all types of construction jobs, checking enquiries and comparative statements for order approval.
  • Mechanical Works Management - Check enquiries and comparative statements for order approval, fabrication, erection, and commissioning of installed equipment.
  • Electrical and Instrumentation - Prepare circuit diagrams, procure instruments, and install/erect and commission the same.
  • Project Costing and Planning - Estimate and propose costs for ongoing and upcoming/new projects.
  • Project EHS & Quality - Ensure compliance with project-related EHS standards, implement Ingredion EHS standards for project execution, and ensure quality and speed of project execution.
  • Contract Management and Reporting - Manage vendor, third-party, and contractor performance, issuing monthly project progress and variation reports.
  • Project Commissioning - Ensure timely and seamless commissioning of the project to attain the required quality and volume of intended product.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a PEC/HEC recognized university/institute.
  • Minimum 10 years' work experience in a Project management role in Process/Food/Pharma Industry in Pakistan/Middle East region.
  • English fluency, both written and spoken.


Desirable Requirements:

  • Operations and maintenance experience is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and project planning software is desirable.
