Deputy Accountant Role

Pakson International Pvt Limited is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct independent financial assessments and reviews of an organisation's financial position;
  2. Develop, implement and continuously improve financial systems and processes;
  3. Prepare comprehensive financial management reports, including strategic planning and forecasting;
  4. Provide expert advice on tax and treasury matters;
  5. Negotiate terms with suppliers and vendors;
  6. Liaise with internal and external auditors to address any financial irregularities as they arise;
  7. Produce in-depth reports and recommendations following internal or public-sector audits;
  8. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts;
  9. Offer expert financial guidance and advice to clients (individuals or businesses);
  10. Analyse the company's financial systems and identify areas for improvement;
  11. Verify financial information and systems through rigorous testing;
  12. Advise clients on business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions (corporate finance);
  13. Help clients improve their financial performance or deal with insolvency;
  14. Identify and prevent fraudulent activities (forensic accounting);
  15. Mentor and supervise junior colleagues;
  16. Provide expert tax planning advice within current legislation to minimise tax liability and address related issues;
  17. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and prepare accounts and management information for small businesses.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. They will also have a strong understanding of financial regulations and be able to interpret complex financial data.
