Job Overview

The Solutions Architect – Security role involves designing and implementing advanced security solutions tailored to customer needs.

This position supports the sales process by collaborating closely with sales teams, customers, and vendor partners to ensure technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and increased revenue growth and margin in their solution environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist sales teams in pre-sales activities, including gathering customer requirements and supporting solution design.
  • Support the creation of Bills of Materials (BoM), quote generation, and solution validation for security technologies.
  • Develop a working knowledge of security platforms such as firewall solutions, endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), cloud security, security operations tools (SIEM/SOAR), and vulnerability management solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field – or equivalent experience.
  • At least one vendor competency certification in cybersecurity solutions such as Cisco Security, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Microsoft Security, or other industry-recognized platforms is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years in a sales and/or IT security implementation/support role.
Success Metrics
  • Contribution to sales growth and attainment of team revenue and margin targets.
  • Ability to support technical security solution design and customer engagement.
  • Achievement of relevant industry certifications.
