Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our company, including preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with all local and federal tax regulations, maintaining accurate financial records, and preparing financial statements.

About the Role

You will be responsible for handling general ledger accounting and account reconciliations, processing payroll, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring timely payments. In addition, you will liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies, and stay updated with the latest tax laws and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including corporate, sales, and withholding taxes.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and federal tax regulations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial statements.
  • Handle general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
  • Process payroll, manage accounts payable/receivable, and ensure timely payments.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay updated with the latest tax laws and financial regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in taxation and corporate accounting, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. You will also need to have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and manage financial operations efficiently. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero.
