Instrumentation Specialist

The role of Instrumentation Specialist involves the maintenance, repair, and calibration of industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance. This includes tasks such as routine maintenance, repair, and calibration of pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and level indicators.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and troubleshoot complex instrumentation systems, identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  2. Replace faulty parts or components as needed, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  3. Conduct thorough performance tests to guarantee instrument accuracy and precision.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs, facilitating effective documentation and knowledge sharing.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with installation and commissioning of new instruments, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
  6. Foster a culture of safety and adherence to protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is required.
  • Strong knowledge of various industrial instruments, including their applications, limitations, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and schematics, enabling effective diagnosis and resolution of technical problems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and departments.
