Software Engineering LeaderAbout the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineering Leader to spearhead our product development lifecycle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading, building, and mentoring high-performing software engineers to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full product development lifecycle, driving innovation and delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their problems and build novel solutions using cutting-edge technologies like ChatGPT and the OpenAI API.
  • Serve as the technical advocate for your users, synthesizing their needs to develop impactful research and applied product/engineering roadmaps.
  • Act as the primary technical escalation point for your team, fostering trust and maintaining direct communication with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Validate, synthesize, and deliver high-signal feedback to the Product and Research teams.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience as a software/ML engineer, product engineer, or customer engineer, with a proven track record in incubator/lab environments delivering ideas from prototypes to production.
  • 2+ years of experience leading technical teams, demonstrating a strong ability to hire, develop, and manage technical talent.
  • Proven ability to build and/or deliver prototypes on top of our API platform.
  • A humble attitude, an eagerness to help colleagues, and a desire to do whatever it takes to make the team succeed.
  • Effective, high-throughput operation, with the ability to drive concurrent projects and prioritize ruthlessly.
