Our team is seeking a skilled engineer to work on the design, testing and commissioning of automation systems.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working with various PLC platforms and RTUs such as Schneider M580, Rockwell Control & Compact Logix, Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500, PCS-7, WinCC SCADA, WinCC OA SCADA and TBOX RTU.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To develop and execute test plans to ensure the reliability and functionality of automation systems.
  2. To troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, optimize system performance and minimize downtime.
  3. To conduct regular system maintenance including upgrades, backups and configuration activities.
  4. To provide training and support to operations teams on the proper use and maintenance of automation systems.
  5. To document all processes, configurations and changes related to automation systems.
  6. To prepare progress and root cause analysis reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, automation or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3-5 years working in the field of automation as a PLC/RTU Programmer and commissioning, preferably on Water and Wastewater projects, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure.
  3. Familiarity with open communication protocols used in automation such as Modbus Serial, Modbus RTU, BACnet MSTP, OPC, MQTT, DNP3 etc.
  4. Ability to read documents and drawings related to control systems i.e. P&IDs, layouts, Control Panel Drawings and troubleshoot wiring issues.
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  7. UPDA holder.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office.
