A support staff position is available in the Paediatrics and Child Health department.

About the Department

The department focuses on paediatric care with a strong research emphasis. We have ten field sites across Pakistan, including four in Karachi. Our work is well-regarded nationally and internationally.

Duties
  • Dust all surfaces daily for cleanliness.
  • Empty wastebaskets, trash, and clean ashtrays.
  • Clean bathrooms, fixtures included.
  • Wipe furniture with a damp cloth.
  • Mop floors, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Clean patient rooms after discharge.
  • Vacuum carpets and spot-clean stains.
  • Clean walls and windows.
  • Report maintenance issues to supervisors.
  • Address emergency cleaning concerns.
Requirements
  • No formal education required.
  • No prior experience necessary.
  • Female applicants are encouraged.
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene essential.
  • Good physical fitness required.
  • Respectful attitude towards colleagues necessary.
  • Ability to follow simple instructions in Urdu.
