Supply Chain Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented supply chain professional to oversee logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate logistics operations to meet customer demands and minimize costs.
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH VENDORS/SUPPLIERS TO ENSURE TIMELY DELIVERY OF GOODS.
  • ESTABLISH BUDGETS FOR PURCHASES BASED ON FORECASTED DEMAND.
  • MAKE DECISIONS IN A FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT WHILE ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS.
  • EVALUATE VENDORS AND SUPPLIERS TO OPTIMIZE PROCUREMENT PROCESS.
  • TRACK THE MOVEMENT OF GOODS AND MATERIALS TO ENSURE TIMELY DELIVERY.
  • Negotiate pricing and supply contracts with suppliers and vendors.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to forecast and plan for future logistics needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in supply chain logistics.
  • PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN LOGISTICS, SUPPLY CHAIN, OR A RELATED ROLE IS REQUIRED.
  • Knowledge of imports and exports is necessary.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills are essential.
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS ARE REQUIRED.
  • ABILITY TO WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE AND MEET TIGHT DEADLINES IS MANDATORY.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and documentation related to logistics is crucial.
  • STRONG PROBLEM-SOLVING AND DECISION-MAKING ABILITIES ARE REQUIRED.
  • ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND ACCURACY IS ESSENTIAL.
  • ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND AS PART OF A TEAM IS NECESSARY.
