Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure Development

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead and manage a diverse team of professionals in infrastructure development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct a team of project managers, engineers, and construction staff to deliver high-quality projects within timelines and budgets.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate the team towards common goals.
  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure effective quality and quantity of projects.
  • Analyze requirements and prepare detailed project plans, including BOQs and cost estimates.
  • Making informed decisions and navigating challenges that arise during project execution.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, milestones, and standards of workmanship.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Evaluate technical bids in accordance with bid documents to ensure compliance and value for money.
  • Monitor and control project costs to meet budgetary constraints and arrange for additional resources as required.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment and provide guidance and support to team members when needed.
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and with all stakeholders, promoting transparency and trust.
  • Maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment, free from harm or injury.
  • Ensure contract compliance and resolve any disputes that may arise during the project, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Implement risk management plans to safeguard project success, identifying and mitigating potential risks proactively.
  • Familiarity with relevant MS Office tools and project management systems is essential for this role.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
