Medical Documentation Assistant

We are seeking a diligent and organized Medical Documentation Assistant to support our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling Medical Documents: Receive, organize, and digitize medical records and reports into secure digital systems.
  • Data Entry: Enter patient information, visit summaries, and test results into Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with precision.
  • Document Review: Ensure all documents are complete, properly labeled, and well-organized.
  • Filing and Maintenance: Maintain and retrieve medical documents as needed, keeping both digital and physical files in order.
  • Team Support: Assist medical staff and administrative teams with documentation-related tasks.
  • Confidentiality: Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and organizational policies to protect patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills and typing proficiency
  • Ability to learn medical terminology and healthcare systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Capacity to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality
  • High school diploma or equivalent (medical or administrative coursework is beneficial)
