Job Overview

The role of Business Development Manager involves driving growth by capitalizing on business opportunities in the Health, Safety, and Environment sector.

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating strategic partnerships, fostering client relationships, and expanding our market presence to increase revenue and achieve our business objectives.

Responsibilities
  1. Market Analysis:
  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the HSE sector.
  • Perform SWOT analysis and devise policies to overcome weaknesses and transform threats into opportunities.
  • Identify existing gaps and potential areas for growth within the HSE market.
Business Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the HSE sector in alignment with our overall goals.
  • Define target markets, customer segments, and value propositions.
  • Based on market analysis and future trends, develop long-term and short-term HSE business goals and action plans to achieve them.
  • Identify and quantify potential leads and prospects through research, networking, and engagement with industry events and conferences.
  • Generate a consistent pipeline of opportunities for the HSE services.
Partnership Development:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint business opportunities and collaborations.
Client Engagement:
  • Understand client needs and challenges related to HSE and craft company services as solutions.
  • Conduct presentations, services demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new business.
Proposal Development:
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals and solutions that address client requirements.
  • Ensure proposals are tailored to specific client needs and align with our capabilities.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by closing deals and securing new contracts.
  • Provide quarterly sales forecasts and reports to management.
Networking:
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences related to HSE to build a strong professional network.
  • Represent the company as a knowledgeable and reliable expert in the HSE sector.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to HSE to provide valuable insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Continuously refine and adapt the HSE business development strategy based on market dynamics.
Qualifications

A Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field is required.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and business acumen.
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Time management and organizational skills.

Minimum eight years of experience in business development and marketing, with five years in HSE services providers companies. Sound knowledge of national & international regulations, legislations, industry best practices pertaining to HSE.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120K - $150K, annual bonus (performance-based), and EOBI benefits.
