Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to manage all aspects of event operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from initial preparation through to final operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Cover all aspects of running and operating events with local and international clients.
  • Liaise with key staff members to work closely with them for the successful execution of an event.
  • Prepare budgets and provide complete reporting on pre- and post-event activities.
  • Develop an event calendar for the entire year and ensure it is updated daily.
  • Identify and recruit potential team members and volunteers who will work on events.
  • Develop training plans and deliver training to each staff member to ensure efficiency.
  • Monitor and measure performance of each individual and update management on the team's and individual performances.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Participate in strategy development, budgeting, future event themes, and share information with superiors.
  • Collaborate with hotel staff on joint events.
  • Set, communicate, and maintain timelines and priorities for every project.
  • Establish strong liaison with senior management and other departments.
  • Attend weekly virtual meetings with remote locations.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management of supplies and accessories.
Requirements:
  • Must have experience in event planning and operations ideally within a well-established venue or 4/5-star hotel property.
  • Able to work effectively on budgets.
  • Fluency in English language is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to meet strict deadlines and targets.
  • Strong operational knowledge and experience.
  • Able to work flexible hours.
