Job Title: Software Infrastructure Specialist

The role of a Software Infrastructure Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the scalability, reliability and continuous integration of software solutions. This position requires an individual who can automate and streamline manual tasks for software delivery, implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines, develop and manage infrastructure using code, monitor systems to ensure performance and work closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes.

About the Role

This full-time opportunity involves working at the intersection of software development and IT operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing best practices, enforcing security standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation of Processes: Automate and streamline manual tasks for software delivery, ensuring increased efficiency and reduced costs.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment: Implement CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Develop and manage infrastructure using code (e.g., Terraform), ensuring consistency and reproducibility.
  • Monitor Systems: Monitor infrastructure and applications to ensure performance, availability and security.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to streamline processes and drive process improvements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role.
  • CI/CD Tools: Proven experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab.
  • Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar languages.
  • Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
