Job Summary:

The Patient Health Desk Executive/Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient interactions, ensuring seamless coordination of healthcare services, and enhancing patient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and a patient-centric approach to support individuals throughout their healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing necessary assistance.
  • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, consultations, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain and update patient records in the hospital information system.
  • Ensure patients receive clear information about their treatment plans, procedures, and healthcare services.
  • Assist with billing, insurance processing, and financial counseling for patients as needed.
  • Liaise with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely services.
  • Handle patient complaints and grievances professionally, escalating issues as required.
  • Promote patient education initiatives and wellness programs.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
  • Support hospital outreach and patient engagement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in healthcare management software and MS Office.
  • High level of professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes is a plus.
