Logistics Operations Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to coordinate day-to-day logistics operations.

  • Coordinating auctions with minimal response time is crucial to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for updating internal documentation and company web portals on a daily basis.
  • Timely documentation of delivery orders, bills of lading, and release documents is essential to prevent delays.
  • Shipment planning and tracking according to customer requirements is a key responsibility of this role.
  • Recruitment and coordination of logistics staff as needed will be handled by the successful candidate.
  • Effective communication with suppliers, retailers, customers, and truckers is critical for profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
Required Skills:
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Prior experience in a 3PL logistics organization is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Supply chain graduates or undergraduates are encouraged to apply for this position.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required for effective collaboration with team members.
  • Problem-solving skills and decision-making ability are necessary to resolve issues promptly.
  • Familiarity with basic Microsoft Excel and data analysis is desirable but not essential.
