Job Title: Product Manager Mobile Apps - Strategic Product Roadmap Specialist

The primary goal of a Product Manager is to create and implement a strategic product roadmap, ensuring the successful launch of software products. Key responsibilities include:

  • Laying out the product vision and goals.
  • Staying informed about market trends and customer needs.
  • Developing requirements documents for new releases.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Overseeing user documentation, training, and marketing efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive product release schedule.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and marketing teams to deliver valuable products.
  • Elevate decision-making to product owners and sponsors as necessary.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define program goals and requirements.
  • Conduct thorough product analysis to develop accurate requirements.
  • Manage operational support, performance monitoring, and automated testing.
  • Identify and mitigate risks affecting scope, quality, and schedule.
  • Lead a collaborative team environment focused on customer needs.
  • Direct analyst and QA activities to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Create relevant artifacts for communication and direction.
  • Analyze potential partner relationships for the product.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends to inform product decisions.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience leading teams in software product delivery.
  • System thinking skills to understand high-level system diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of native mobile application development for iOS and Android.
  • Technical delivery experience in agile environments.
  • Understanding of QA automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to evaluate technical concepts and tradeoffs.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments operating at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/MIS expected.
  • Understanding of modern software development practices and QA best practices.
