Job Title: HR Manager

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full range of HR operational support to the business, covering all aspects of the employee life cycle. This includes managing the entire recruitment process, maintaining employee records, and ensuring accurate data in HR information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process from initial advert submission to induction of new starters
  • Maintain employee records and standard documentation in staff personal files
  • Ensure accuracy and update of staff data in HR information systems
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports as required by management for decision-making purposes
  • Be the main contact for payroll, ensuring timely actioning of changes and issuing employment letters to staff
  • Administer employment benefits, including staff leaves, medical insurance, and other benefits
  • Take lead on implementing HR processes such as annual appraisals, probation reviews, and staff surveys
  • Assist managers/leads in identifying staff training needs, researching and proposing training plans, and organizing training events
  • Provide support on employee relations cases, from initial advice to complete management of grievances and disciplinary/capability cases
  • Conduct staff exit process, updating payroll and executing an exit interview, and periodic staff exit trends reporting

Requirements:

  • 5 plus years of experience as an HR Officer in a fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident Microsoft Office user, particularly MS Excel
  • Outstanding organization and time management skills
  • Previous hands-on experience of HR software/information systems

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree holders in Business Administration, Social Sciences or related field
  • Good working knowledge of entire gamut of HR functions, particularly recruitment, onboarding, training & development, appraisals
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of labour laws
