Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved schedules and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain all routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance within scope of approval, including A&C and Avionics as applicable.
  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on third-party aircraft for which jobholder holds type approval, including A&C and Avionics as applicable.
  • Ensure timely departures of aircraft on completion of relevant routine scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks.
  • Accompany aircraft as necessary to meet schedule changes at short notice.
  • Travel for aircraft recovery during AOG situations and perform pre-departure checks.
  • Ensure bonded store, office, and environments are clean, tidy, and serviceable.
  • Maintain station manuals and technical publications up-to-date as per Company requirements.
  • Manage station 'impress' updates and follow Gulf Air Technical Material Department for material replenishment.
  • Provide accurate and timely debriefs to Maintenance Control Centre on aircraft departure, technical delay, defect rectification, ADDs/MDDs raised, and ETS during prolonged technical delay.
  • Deputize for Station Engineer when needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum five years' experience in aircraft maintenance, with a minimum of three years as a certifying engineer.
  • Holding an Aircraft Engineer License recognized by the Authority and Gulf Air Technical Quality Department, with a minimum of one or two Aircraft Type.
