We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual who can collaborate with our senior developers to create impactful web experiences. As a Junior WordPress Developer, you'll work on real-world projects, contribute to exciting brands, and have opportunities to grow and develop in a dynamic team environment.

>Key Responsibilities
  • Customize existing themes and plugins according to project requirements
  • Optimize website performance and write SEO-friendly code
  • Extend WooCommerce features and customize it as needed
  • FOLLOW best practices for security and coding standards
  • BUILD Elementor widgets and custom widgets from scratch
  • USE Git for version control and collaboration purposes
  • Implement animations and interactive elements using modern JavaScript libraries (e.g., GSAP)
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; outstanding skills may allow for exceptions
  • Strong knowledge of PHP (object-oriented programming and procedural)
  • A deep understanding of WordPress Core, Theme, and Plugin architecture
  • Proficiency in MySQL and database query optimization techniques
  • Strong frontend skills: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS
  • JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX expertise
  • An interest in learning animation libraries like GSAP
  • Experience with WooCommerce customization and plugin development
  • Experience with Git and GitHub for version control
  • Familiarity with WordPress hooks (Actions and Filters)
  • Experience with Custom Post Types, Taxonomies, and Custom Fields (ACF/Codestar Framework)
  • Proficiency in WP_Query & MySQL
  • The ability to build themes following WordPress Coding Standards
  • Experience with page builders: Elementor, Gutenberg
  • Good design sense and the ability to build modern, responsive websites
  • Experience converting Figma designs into web pages
  • PHP framework experience is a plus
