QA Automation Specialist - Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Automation professional to drive our testing efforts forward.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automated testing, as well as a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Automated Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of software applications.
  2. Test Automation Frameworks: Implement test automation frameworks and tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and product teams, to understand requirements and establish quality standards.
  4. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects throughout their lifecycle.
  5. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality issues.
  6. Mentoring: Mentor junior QA team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  7. Industry Trends: Stay updated with industry advancements in QA practices and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with both manual and automated testing.
  • Automation Tools: Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
  • Scripting Languages: Strong understanding of scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • API Testing Tools: Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Performance Testing Tools: Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Version Control Systems: Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mobile Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks.
  • Cloud Testing Environments: Experience with cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure).
