PHP Software Architect Position

We are seeking a seasoned PHP software architect to spearhead the development of high-performance web applications. As a key member of our team, you will design and implement scalable systems that meet performance, security, and reliability standards.

Responsibilities
  • System Design: Lead the creation of robust, maintainable architectures for complex web applications using PHP-Laravel-based systems.
  • Development: Write clean, well-documented PHP code and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, establish coding standards, and provide technical guidance to solve complex problems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Platform Operations: Oversee day-to-day platform operations, including account setups, credentials management, third-party integrations, environment configuration, and ensuring platform stability, security, and documentation.
  • Best Practices: Implement and enforce industry-standard best practices in software development, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
  • Project Oversight: Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment, and communicate progress and risks to management.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5–8 years of professional PHP development experience with a strong portfolio of PHP projects or products.
  • Architecture & Design: Proven ability to design scalable, high-performance web applications and systems, applying design patterns and best practices for large codebases.
  • Leadership: Experience leading or mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and driving team collaboration, with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Tools: Proficient with version control systems (Git), testing methodologies, and experience with build/deployment tools (Docker, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Education & Thinking: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred) or equivalent practical experience, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Advanced experience (beyond 8 years) or formal experience as a software architect or technical lead.
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices (automated CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration).
  • Experience with NoSQL/datastore technologies (Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch) or message brokers.
  • Exposure to front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) and full-stack development.
  • Certifications in PHP or cloud platforms.
