Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science or IT Management is a fundamental requirement for this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leverage expertise to manage all aspects of the development and implementation of learning management systems.
  2. Cultivate effective task planning, release planning, daily stand-ups, and demos.
  3. Prioritize project tasks to meet key milestones.
  4. Identify and coordinate dependencies with systems, engineering, and coordination teams.
  5. Proactively manage project conflicts and remove impediments/blockers to maintain high team productivity.
  6. Apply up-to-date project management knowledge to the development, execution, and improvement of the learning management system.
  7. Foster best practices in project management through guidance and support.
  8. Actively contribute to process improvements and ensure seamless delivery.
  9. Proactively identify gaps in resource plans or project objectives and facilitate resolutions with executive stakeholders.
  10. Provide regular metrics and status updates to executive stakeholders.
  11. Ensure alignment of project goals with university objectives and needs.
  12. Adhere to university policies and procedures while modeling compliance and supporting mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Job Specifications
  1. Hold Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  2. Enjoy at least two years of hands-on experience in developing web applications using modern web technologies.
  3. possess one year of experience in implementing advanced learning technologies.
  4. Have one year of experience working in an academic environment.
  5. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to motivate team members.
